Chinoiserie Dining Room: Based on a wallpaper design, this chinoiserie mural was customized by selecting specific colors and imagery. Bird nests were added for a subtle detail. The fresh colors give this traditional space a welcoming feel. (Heidi Dripps Design Services)

Country French Residence: Finishes were designed to create the look of age and character, as found in historic French chateaus.  Ceiling beams in family room were faux bois-ed to add warmth and depth.

Private Residence: Client wished for a grand entry for guests. Ceiling treated with faux iron grilles with sky. Trompe l’oeil carved stone plaque with special meaning to family on stairwell wall.

Gilded Dining Room Ceiling: A traditional gilded ceiling in a federal style townhome in the Kalorama neighborhood of Washington DC.

Breakfast Nook Table: Custom made glass top to fit in client’s vintage metal table base. Hand painted glass top incorporating colors and finishes of decor. With AFP Interiors

Tuscan Foyer: Warm faux encaustic treatment with metallic peeking through gives this tall foyer a warm, intimate feel. Hand painted trompe l’oeil ceiling medallion custom designed and painted on site to mimic metalwork in light fixture. Trim around door painted to match wood door. With Your Home By Wendy

Vivacious Red Foyer: Client loved her old wallpaper, a tradition red damask. However it was peeling and fading. I created this finish to mimic the wallpaper. Added perk- no seams and therefore no peeling!
